Many jobs in construction these days require a lot of nails to be hammered in. You could get a nice balanced hammer and pound those nails in one at a time. The nail gun weighs in at seventeen pounds, which sounds like quite a bit until you consider what it can do. It is almost nineteen inches long. With a nailer that long you are able to hold it out in front of you and reach about any place you want to reach. So you may be holding a large tool, but your arm is going to feel better after using it than if you were to use one smaller that you had to wrestle with to get it to work.

The Dewalt DC618K is an advanced nailing gun that can really speed up the job of pounding in nails. If there is a list for ways to slam nails into soft or hard wood, you can bet this nailer would be on it. I would recommend it be on yours.
